About him
I am a faithful, fun loving man who loves the arts and sharing quality time with someone special. I love preparing food, going for country walks and going to gigs and galleries. I'm a musician and composer, as well as teaching part time. As an incurable romantic, I love writing poetry and I am also half way through writing my first novel - a love story of course!
I've always been active, having been a regular judoka and coach. I enjoy going to the gym, swimming and walking in the countryside - which is spectacular in the Peak District, very close to where I live.
I enjoy travelling and discovering new places, both here in the UK and abroad. I love road trips.
I see myself as a tolerant person, despairing at the widening social inequalities in our society. Politically left of centre and very pro EU, so tory Brexiteers need not apply.
I prefer a good coffee (can't drink instant!) to alcohol, but will have an occasional glass of wine - I'm happy to be the designated driver!

Someone with a shared love of the arts, who enjoys travelling and exploring. Someone with kindness, compassion and who despairs of injustice in the world are qualities more important to me than looks, hair colour or body shape.
