Biologically and thankfully, i certainly do not feel my chronological age; i still largely do the active things i did 30 years ago albeit at more of a relaxed pace like playing tennis, Lakeland walks, meandering through country roads on a cycle, leisurely windsurfing..... on a cortical level and as i love music in most forms i have taken up learning the piano , presently hovering around grade two standard but its the enjoyment of learning that,s rewarding which my "Beginners Spanish" class also provides !. i,m medication free and have my own dentition - sorry for mentioning the clinical aspects but important for a clearer picture. I don,t follow trends and have gleaned from experience a largely positive "yin/yang uptake on the up,s and down,s of life. I would say i have a warm, friendly, easy going personality with "off-the wall" humour and a curiosity for more of life,s adventures coupled with with a genuine thoughtful, empathetic nature.

Prerequisites for me in a person are mutual respect, a degree of intelligence ,honesty, empathy, humour and importantly a loving smile; by being yourself and enjoying the moment together with interesting conversation and even periods of silence. I believe with new friendships you have to allow the necessary space that,s frequently required for understanding and progress - the tone and sound of a voice, looks and personal attractiveness, mannerisms/habits all form part of the chemistry that ultimately decides deeper affection and compatibility; It,s nice to share some common hobbies/interests with someone, however, i think its equally important to have some that are not - ultimately enjoying sharing periods of quality time together in different environments including exploring new destinations both at home and abroad.
