I'm easy going, relaxed and enjoy the lighter side of life. Fit, active, enjoy going out and travelling. I enjoy cricket, yoga, sailing, skiing, gardening, eating out and visiting the Pub amongst my interests and enjoy spending time with my children and grand children. I cycle regularly to keep fit but wouldn't class myself as a fanatic.
I'm a capable cook making my own bread and using home grown veg and fruit that I grow on my allotment. I am a reasonably proficient bee keeper having an apiary in the centre of Loughborough and using this to supply honey to local shops.
I'm a keen walker having walked the South West Coast path and Pennine Way amongst many walking trips, but still enjoy a short local walk or couple of nights in the Peak District. In my younger years I was a serious Rock climber, Mountaineer, runner and caver.
I go up to Edinburgh every August for a few days for the fringe festival, really enjoy live comedy, theatre and music.

I've travelled quite extensively over the years having been to North and South America, India , Indonesia and Africa. I still travel but do like a bit more luxury and comfort these days. I'm not long back from travelling in Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand. Shortly of to Austria skiing with my son. I would like to visit the Chilean Lake District and Ethiopia to see the churches at Lalibela and the Danakil Depression. I have been lucky in having retired fairly early after a career in Construction and Property Development giving me the time to do these things.
