Single parent , separated about 3 years now looking to date again . Generally relaxed but relatively well organised and self-motivated. Loving music , art , film , history , creative projects - far too many books I’ve still not read though.
Practical and smart / intelligent but not pretending to be a genius. Average week will certainly include some of the following -Parenting , school runs , Self employed business , daily cooking , diy , gardening , music , walking football , dad taxi , shopping and probably a lot more….
Young outlook - still enjoy learning and keeping up with new books , music , tech and styles . I keep healthy with sports &yoga , especially enjoy mountain biking . Enjoy a Motorbike ride on occasional sunny days.
I’m active and energetic but of course i also like some quiet time to read , watch a film or just relax . Weekend at Home with the radio on , cooking - listening to radio 6 amongst others 😎 confess to missing Liza Tarbuck on the radio 2 Saturday eves / so funny . Sofa with some snacks and a glass of wine / tremendous - let’s do it. Nice to get together with friends as well , like socialising just lost a little of that when the children were very young as you do.
Generally aim for a balance of enjoying time with my children who both live with me , work , some good friendships and now hoping to also meet a special person to share some time with.
Always optimistic and love to meet someone with a good sense of humour and see where we go. Personality and spirit more important than age etc.
I’m genuine 6ft , slim / athletic and have been mistaken for Paul Weller and Gary Neville if that’s any help but probably not (-: I’m definitely young at heart and I believe my boys still think I’m not too much of an olde man just yet anyway - not too past it for a run about , a game of football or even a blast on Fortnite or just some spontaneous, silly antics .
I also volunteer work for a support group which I find very rewarding and helpful. Anyway enough about me .. over to you xx

I think you just know when someone feels right and there’s no particular type or age - flexible - we will know , I’m very open and would love to hear from anyone who would like to get in touch with me. Let’s say hello - we may start something great but if we are not feeling it no probs either way but I’m always respectful and care about others and let’s just be straight forward .
I like relaxed outlooks with some spirituality but not too far into hippy territory - also good intuition and caring personality , I honestly wake up excited and happy for each new day , why wouldn’t you?
Perhaps we will be friends or maybe have a relationship but of course there’s never any pressure and at this point let’s just start a chat , I’m friendly , honest and trustworthy and hope for the same in return.

I’m always interested in new experiences , adventures , travel , new places to visit and explore , cafe , pubs , night outs - as well as peaceful times at home or quiet walks in the countryside. Museums , art galleries , national trust houses etc / open to suggestions . 🌟
Please have in mind I live with my two wonderful sons and their care is my priority but as they are growing up fast and approaching teenage I feel ready to explore new relationships and find some time for meeting people.
