Retired, slim, bright, fit and healthy, calm, optimistic and happy,
I enjoy cooking, travelling, gym workouts, watercolour art and painting, contemporary jazz and photography (B&W). My passion is long distance & European cycling, it’s a great way to enjoy the countryside and see other countries. I’m now retired having had an interesting career in university teaching and science related health care.
I’m a chap who is honest, reliable, loyal, kind, thoughtful, a good organiser and have traits of being adventurous whilst having determination, endurance and some competitiveness.
I enjoy cooking, particularly fish and the occasional fruit cake (but I’m not one myself 🤔). I’d much rather cook from fresh ingredients than buy a semi or fully prepared meal except fish and chips! Travelling is a pleasure, visiting different countries, taking in the architecture and cuisine. I’ve been lucky enough to cycle across several European countries in the recent past and I’m happy to travel on my own but would enjoy it more with the company of a partner. BTW I’m not looking for a housekeeper or cook, as I’m independent, and capable.
I’ve no tattoos or metal work, including hips! I don’t do drugs and I only occasionally drink alcohol, not a Brummie by birth and no baggage from a previous marriage. Myers Briggs: ENTJ.

If you are an intelligent, feminine, fit and a healthy lady who enjoys the outdoors and perhaps enjoys sport, keeping fit, art and travel. If you’re interested in cycling, that would be a bonus (but not a deal breaker), then we might have something to work on.
You might ask why I’m looking for a partner; I enjoy a women’s company and miss the conversation and social / outdoor activities and relationship.
Although I do drive, ideally, you might be relatively local, as a long distance can take the spontaneity out of a relationship.
