Kind, gentle and softly spoken, my interests and pastimes include current affairs, drawing and reading - popular science, biographies, novels.
I subscribe to the Guardian, listen to R4 (JazzFM on Sundays), go to the cinema, and occasionally attend semi-pro football matches.
Keep active through cycling, walks, running, yoga and pilates; also volunteer part-time in a plant nursery - which helps keep the garden stocked.
I love the south west - Dorset, Devon, Cornwall. Enjoy train journeys; drive when necessary, not so keen on air travel - both for environmental reasons, and the unpleasantness of the 'airport experience'. Anyway, it’s good to be in the right place sometimes.
