About her
I am a person who values kindness, compassion and tolerance, together with a warmhearted, gracious and affectionate nature. Curious, articulate, financially secure and well-travelled with a girly young mindset. Having a classical education, I have spent years exploring places rich in history, culture, people, art, architecture and wonderful food, sailed in several waters and lived abroad. I am also happy surrounded by life’s simple pleasures: wandering through a beautiful city, enjoying a quiet walk by a river and in the countryside immersed in nature. Good food, interesting easy conversation and lovely peaceful surroundings mean a lot to me.
I love being in the countryside (having lived on a farm) and find it awe inspiring, nourishing and humbling. Africa, the Okavango Delta, Kalahari, Masai Mara, together with France, Italy and the Greek Islands are also special to me.
Having renovated old properties and gardens to create a comfortable homely home, I would be open to exploring new ideas and projects and you will find me enthusiastic, adaptable, emotionally balanced, creative, inspiring and fun! … promise.
There is a Pablo Neruda poem that conveys my life philosophy. Basically don’t allow yourself to get stuck in a rut .. [However comfortable that is].
