About her
This is rather daunting but here goes...
I'm friendly, practical, easy-going and down to earth. I treasure old things more than new, and my close friends and family more than anything. That said, I'm now looking to the wider world again...
That will mean the arts in some (or several) forms, and I hope interesting and creative people. I started watercolour painting last year, but had to pack up my paints ready to move house, and now I'm busy trying to get my new place in order - I'll be glad to get back to painting pictures instead of walls.
I enjoy all sorts of music and love listening to live music, especially local gigs, and although I don't play a note myself I'm a great audience, (an aspect of life that is much missed) so a friend to join me occasionally would be a welcome outcome of this scary leap.
I'm active but not sporty (I like gardening, walking, baking, dancing) and am young in spirit. I'm currently doing up my house which i enjoy but still find time to read - novels and non-fiction, and look forward to when the DIY is done so I can get out exploring historic towns, art galleries, museums / theatres / cafes / bars / gigs - and our beautiful countryside again. All much more fun with someone by my side.
