About him
Even tempered, fit, healthy. Often mistaken for 10 years younger! I love cooking, film and theatre, music and dancing. I retired from a long career that I loved 5 years ago, and am having a great time exploring the time it’s given me. I’ve mostly spent my time in the countryside, looking after some woodland and old meadows. I sail (no boat at the moment), read quite a bit (particularly contemporary fiction, and also follow my interest in climate and environmental issues. I did an Environmental Science degree many years ago, and the passion lingers still! Dancing is my escape, and do swing and Lindy as often as I can. I moved into the city (Norwich) 3 years ago and love the access to music, cinema and dance that it gives me. I certainly don’t take myself seriously, and friends saying that I’m not at all egotistical. I value my friends highly and am very sociable. I’m happy in my own space, and living alone, but I’d love to have someone to share intimacies with. A morning coffee reading the news, a slow browse through a gallery, sharing thoughts, ideas and dreams with.
